Djump ⚪

The gameplay itself isn't the only important part of video games. A lot of retro releases are also remembered for their iconic audio.
For those who played Super Mario Bros, it is enough to just see the jumping sprite of the little plumber for the sound effect to play in their head. Djump is a tool you can use to create your own jumping audio.
How it works
The program allows you to create sound effects containing up to six notes. For those who do not have any musical knowledge, the notes range from A1 to G8.
After you add any note, you have three further options you can configure for them by simply clicking or scrolling. The first one is the time, which basically represents how long a note should be played.
The second one is volume. As its name implies, this represents how loud a note will be.
Finally, there is the slide option, which can be toggled on and off. This basically affects the transition from one note to the other, making it either smoother or more abrupt.
Other options
Not only can the effects have 6 notes, but they can also contain up to three channels. This means you can create different sounds on each of them and have them play at the same time.
You can also choose one of four available wave types. Based on the one you pick, it will affect how sharp the effect will be.
Also, if you are out of ideas for what to create, Djump has a list of 9 preset effects, including some from very popular video games.
How good is it
Overall, the program is really nice. It allows you some pretty cool creation options, while its pixelated interface practically signifies how easy it is to use.
One downside to the application is that it can only export content to WEBM, meaning you would need to use a converter if you want it in any other file type. Other than that, it's quite good.

Buy LinkEvaluation of ICP monitoring in thyroid surgery.
A review of 1872 thyroidectomies in a 3 1/2-year period yielded an 11.6% complication rate for 146 patients who underwent intraoperative ICP monitoring. Among the 146 patients monitored, 41 had transient elevations of ICP while the dura was open. Although temporary ICP elevations seem to be associated with transient disorders of cerebral blood flow, these events have not been shown to be associated with permanent neurologic deficits. ICP monitoring did not reduce significantly the complication rate when compared with historical control populations.“Men have a fabulous opportunity to be coaches, and they’ve got to decide what they want their legacy to be.”

How can you say that the 4J Sound app is not a very popular one when the results is only within 15,000 votes? 😉 It is the only app which can create the text-to-speech effect for the wxWindows-based applications.
Last year, I found this app, called Text To Speech for Text-Based Games, which performed very well, and it was widely used by a lot of people as well. It is a free application which can be downloaded from the site. After I installed it, I found that the app crashes frequently, often when I was about to paste the texts. I also found out that the author has now uploaded a version 2 of the app, which has better compatibility as well.
Now, Text To Speech for wxWindows is available for people who like to create fun apps for themselves or others to use. You can download it from here. The app includes some pretty cool features, and you are sure to find some good uses for it.
With Text To Speech for wxWindows, you can create the following sounds:
1. Menu Text for wxWindows – Create a Menu Text for wxWindows games which will be displayed on the Menu Bar when we start the game.
2. Instructions for wxWindows – Create a Banner Text which you can include in your wxWindows-based application to help people understand the wxWindows functions.
3. Sound-Generating Button – Create a button which can play a wav-format sound file which can be timed, and it can also play a wav-format sound file of any length.
4. Dialog Box Sound – Create a Dialog Box Sound which you can play when we get a dialog box, and the sound can be automatically timed.
5. Copyright Text – Create a Copyright Text which you can include in your wxWindows-based application to help users know that
